William Lee, Sr. - Who were the parents of William Lee Sr.

There appears to be two conflicting sets of parents for William Lee. The profile here on geni lists Clement and Sara Walling and makes mention of the other set Edward Lee (B:1725 Nansemond, Virginia, D:5 Jun 1775 Johnston, North Carolina) and Mary Allen (B:7 February 1736 St James Parish, Henrico, Virginia, D:20 Oct 1810 Johnston, North Carolina). Both sets are obviously good candidates based on wills, locations and both having a child named William at the right time as William Lee.
I've tried using DNA comparisons with shared relations but I have too much "autosomal noise" being I am related to all these families multiple ways and times. So with that avenue coming up a dead end, what are the arguments that support this profile's decission to list Clement Lee and Sara Walling?
