It is very likely that Edward Jr named his own children after his brother and sister.

Rev Edward Teague does not have any Revolutionary War service. He signed petitions during the NC Regulator movement pre-War and then moved away when it proved ineffective.

I am a member of the DAR and can see this patriot's record. He was born 1750 and died 1807. His son Moses, listed on the lineage, was born 1777 in Chatham Co NC. His daughter Lurannah listed on the lineage was born 1775 at NC.
