Hi, Billie! The Colonial Dames is a sororal organization, so this project is actually for *members*, not their qualifying ancestors. But it would be really interesting to build down from this couple and add their descendants who joined!
I'll go ahead and remove the two profiles you added, but let me know if you need help figuring out which of their descendants joined. We can build them into the tree using CDA records.
There's membership info here: https://cda1890.org/aboutcda/membership-eligibility/
Your best bet is to start with your local chapter, since you will need to be nominated and seconded to join. It usually costs a few hundred for the initial application plus a couple hundred in annual dues, with the money going to historic preservation.
Ashley,
I got to figure these lines out first thing see if enough information to put in application I not sure on some these lines there enough information. This a lot generations to have stuff on. And Nancy Veitch/Whitlatch don’t have a lot information found on her. Which goes back if anyone in this line actually applied to colonial Dames.
James 'The Sheriff' Veitch is your 9th great grandfather.
