Evidence needed to support Elizabeth Applegate wife of Thomas Applegate as daughter of Bartholomew Wall & Annetjike Wall

Thomas Applegate in the New England, The Great Migration and The Great Migration Begins, 1620-1635 page 72-75. < AncestrySharing >

Elizabeth (unknown) married Thomas Applegate by 1623. They had four children:

  1. Helena, b. say 1623, m. 1) Thomas Farrington 2) Louis Hulet 3) Carle Morgan
  2. Bartholomew, b. say 1625, m. October 1650 Hannah/Anneken Patrick
  3. Thomas, b. say 1628, m. Johanna Gibbons
  4. John, b. Abt 1630, d. 1712; m. Avis Goulding

The couple has many more than four children attached, I will list and disconnect in the next post. Of course, if anyone has evidence stronger than Anderson’s, they can be re attached.

Additionally, evidence is needed to support Thomas as son of John Applegate of Norfolk & Ann Applegate

Anderson’s Great Migration Project recommended the family as treated at Stillwell, John Edwin. Historical and genealogical miscellany : data relating to the settlement and settlers of New York and New Jersey, vol. III. New York, 1914. Page 2. < Archive.Org > who has no origins for him, only comments that Applegate was a name frequently found in Norfolk, England.

As always, Erica Howton, I'm comfortable with your changes. I accept Anderson's Great Migration Project as the most up-to-date reliable source.

I worked on Applegate a long time ago for some reason, but do not have any additional in-depth knowledge of these profiles.

Thank you for improving them.
