Does anyone have a copy of The Naturalized Jews of the Grand Duchy of Posen in 1834 and 1835?

I am interested in any information about the Gotz family from Shroda

Thanks

Lewin Götz was described as a Handlesmann on page 29 of the book referred to above. And,
his date of Naturalization was August 23, 1834.

Please refer to Eduard David Von Flottwell's Profile here on Geni for some background of the process of Naturalization. Heinrich EDUARD von Flottwell

Basically, to obtain Naturalization a person had to have a business that kept its' records in German, and used German currency. Also, had enough money to pay the fees for Naturalization.

I cant not copy any more data from a recent copyrighted book.

You can buy a copy from Avotaynu for about $50 US.

Dt. Edward Luft is a member of Geni.

Thanks for your question.

Dan

Thank you so much Dan that has been of great assistance

I found a reference to Lewin GOETZ in a naturalization list for 1840-1847 from Sroda. He had a wife and 5 children. It looks like he was born in Peisern, Pleschen, Poland.

Thank you. Apologies i have not logged on here for a long time so just seen this.
