Sometime ago, as I remember, I found information that a queen of England shared our haplgroup. I can't find where I got that information. I traced her maternal line back to Spain.
Any ideas whether there is any truth in this or where I could have found it?
Here is a statement that I recorded - but I did not record the source (stupid!)
"Apparently H6a1b4 is thought to have originated in South East Europe 15000 years ago and Queen Victoria had this mtDNA Haplogroup meaning that we share a mmmaternal ancestor sometime in the last 15000 years."
