Maybe you've noted that similar was precisely my reason for identifying and posting Dr. Theodor BLUM on GENI. Under "About" I noted that he was the physician who signed the Theresienstadt death certificate of my maternal great-grandparents' sister-in-law. (N.B. my own great-grandma also died in Theresienstadt shortly after arrival there.)
Shortly after posting him I was contacted by a descendant of the family - an Italian lady - who was very grateful for not only this sort of "tribute" but simply also the information on his fate - which had otherwise remained unknown even to those close to him.
