Be aware tho - based on the interchange on your guestbook, it looks like all he did was make an honest error which he was willing to fix.
Does not mean that is reality - but you need to think carefully about how to present the situation, or instead of getting help you may be punished for abusive language or etc.

Also - check Manager Options on any Profile that he manages that is 4th cousin or closer to you (or their spouse is to you or your spouse) - if he is not also in that range, there will be a little 'x' in the box with his name, and you can delete him as a Manager of that Profile by clicking it and then cinfirming.

Lois Lubin; 1. it was NOT an honest error. 2.He has continued to insert himself in many other families and making errors. He actually claims to have "added" me to my family tree which I manage.3. He is not a "nice" person to continue adding people who have posted "private". 4.He is harrassing me,

Private User
1) Hard-typing my name rather than tagging me or just typing my first name is basically an invasion of my privacy. -- I have my settings set so if a non-Geni User looks where I am tagged, they just see 'Private User' And if Google searches on my name, it will not find it when I am tagged - it will when you type it. Please never type more than just my first name.

2) Proving something was not an honest error is very hard to do.

3) Geni's goal is to Create a World Tree -- it is just fine - in fact encouraged - to be adding and working on profiles far removed from oneself.
What he calls distant relatives I consider to be connections, not relatives. To me, if the connection goes thru multiple marriages, it is definitely not a relative. However a) others on Geni use the term the same way he does and b) as I said, it is just fine on Geni to be building out like that

4) Errors happen. Sometimes they are typos. Sometimes one thinks two people with the same or similar names are the same person. Many reasons. Errors on Geni can be fixed. When, they change Names, to curse words, that is pretty clearly vandalism. Short of that - the assumption will generally be that it was an honest error.

5) You are on the World Tree, so everybody connected to you is on the World Tree. Everybody on Geni is welcome to edit any profile on the World Tree that is Public.
