To all you cousins,
I have had the below information for 30 years Borrowed a copy of the Capwell Book by Holden Capwell. Not certain of the exact title wording or the last name of the compiler, my genealogy is packed away and I can't get to it. Janet Milburn 6/8/18

By janet milburn December 16, 2011 at 04:50:12 In reply to: Silas Wood + Jane Capwell RI? 8/20/00 Am descendant of Dorcas Wood 1747-1830, daughter of Silas Wood and Jane Capwell. Dorcas md. Peleg Gorton 1750-1802.They lived in Corning, NY. Have my lineage. Nothing known of Silas Wood's ancestry. Which I really would like to have proven, have seen other's ideas, but no proof.
Have Jane Capwell's father's name. It was Stephen Capwell Sr. 1690-1747. His 2nd wife was Mary Barnes(1698-). They married in 16 Sept. 1726. I have some history on Barnes line back to Rowland Barnes ca 1585.
