Does anyone have a source for the burial location of the Captain and his wife, Mary? They are my 4th GG Parents. The only references that I can find indicate that they were buried in Algiers, LA, which is apparently where they were "murdered" too. Though I find the reference, I have not been able to verify with sources. I've searched all the online records that I can find for the New Orleans area, but find no reference, which may not be that surprising since it was 1815.
I grew up and currently live near where many of their children and descendants are buried (Dreher Cemetery in EBR Parish, LA, and Dreher-Kelly Cemetery in EF Parish), but there are no markings for the Captain and Mrs. Mary.
I have read notes that indicate that a relative of John McDonough of New Orleans (and Boston) may have had something to do with their death but again, I have not been able to locate the source for that statement.
