He’s not the father of John King, of Northampton whose parents are fictionally seen as John King and Catherine Drury, as are the parents of the unrelated Goodman John King, of Weymouth
Which child are you chasing?
I think your original John King turned out to be John King, of Northampton and the answer to the parent conflict is “none of the above.”
Unaccountably, this Puritan emigrant to the Massachusetts Bay Colony, a tanner by trade, is claimed to originate as Anglo Irish aristocracy. There are two from County Roscommon who fit his time frame: John King who married Sarah King & is the ancestor of the King Baronets of Charlestown; and also, as a son of Sir John King, Kt. & his wife Catherine Loughane King
Neither work.

And another John King:
John King, Jr. Who married Margaret Bysse & was the son of Sir John King, Kt. & Catherine Loughane King
I was looking at how I connected to someone that another person had posted a bio about in a Facebook group and we seemed to be sharing King ancestry in England but that's when I ran into this and wasn't sure who the parents should be.
The person whose connection I was curious about was Dr. Charles Alexander Eastman, Native American.
Charles Alexander "Ohiye Sa" Eastman
With the changes made, we now don't appear to have any kinship connection. But what is more important is that the connections be correct, so it's all good.
Thanks, Erica.
