Divy (Dicy) was a full blood Cherokee Indian adopted by America Fowler. She & her husband, Isaac Beason, moved from Madison Alabama with 12 children to Antioch twp. Hot Spring, county, Arkansas as some of the first settlers. America Sr, (1774), America Jr. (1807), John Fowler (1808) and David (1820) all b. South Carolina moved to Hot Spring Arkansas from Alabama between 1842 - 1844. (re. census records). Divy (Dicey) Fowler Beason went with them. DEATH: Also shown as Died AFT. 1860

And where does the name Devi/Devy come from?
I see her as Dicy, a fairly common name for the timeframe
