I have been merging from the bottom up.
I have ended up here and am at a standstill---

The FAG for John C. Ballinger, I shows his father/attached memorial for Moses Ballinger, I
This curated profile shows Moses to be the grandfather with the father of John showing as William Ballinger and wife Mary Merritt Redwine

There is a duplicate profile showing for her: https://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000185628069311?to=600000000...
Mary Merritt Redwine appears to be a dupe of the curated Mary M. Ballinger but the husband is different William Ballinger from the curated William Ballenger
It would be simple enough to reject but I am always of the mindset that if we can redeem and reconcile a profile, it is a better option.

I am not working on this line specifically so please check?

The FAG for Moses: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/98352924/moses-ballinger
Two memorials for John:
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/25024172/john-ballinger and https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/63240507/john-ballinger

Thank you

Also-- John's wife: Mary M Ballinger
My merge brought in another set of parents too different to merge:
https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=82256871100

Her father was the same, Philip Barger, I
mother is not:
Barbara Barger vs Barbara Barger

My merge: https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=82256873240 brought in Barbara Barger but I hesitate to disconnect her outright.

I am done working on these and will step off.

TIA

John C. Ballinger, I - John C. Ballinger I does not appear to be the child of Moses Ballinger and Hannah Allen. While not absolutely conclusive, he is not listed in the American Quaker Genealogy Vol I-IV (page 11128/1210) as one of their 10 children. There is a William Marion Ballinger born about the same year in Guilford County NC (same birthplace of Moses) and a Mary Redwine that appear to be a better match. Since I have not encountered William/Mary Ballinger in my tree, I cannot provide any additional support.
