I am trying to figure out who his father was. Based on his link to Lanka, the origin of Avraham david son of Shlomo, I tend to believe he was a son of Shlomo. But Yissachar Dov had a son Fischel born 1866 in Leordina, so he may be that son or a son of another sibling. His gravestone should have his father's name if anybody can get a photo in the Beth David cemetery.
