In a letter Addie wrote 2-16-1914 that she was at St Joseph Hospital in Mitchell, SD in advance of an operation at 8 am the following morning. Addie passed away 2-18-1914. Her death certificate lists the cause of death as Cerebral Embolism. Does anyone know what the operation Addie had on 2-17-1914 was for?
