As a descendant of Mary Miller (Beamon), I have been troubled by the two inconsistencies related to her birth date shown in this profile. First, she had a sister (Abigail) born 61 days earlier, and second, she had her first child between the ages of 12 and 15.
To solve this mystery, I have consulted MyHeritage.com databases and found that many researchers conclude that she was born earlier than 1673. The date of her death is also disputed. Apparently, she represents a typical case in which girls and women at the time were not deemed important enough to record their vital details in church and community records.
I propose that we change the date of birth to "circa 1673" and the date of birth to "circa 1735".
