Also - What places him as a son of James MacDonald and Jane MacDonald

or as a brother of William McDonald

This is not the right Daniel who is the grand dad to my dad and father of William Edward Jr. Our Daniel was born 1875 in Jamaica. This is a relative but not in direct line

Father of Daniel per his birth cert was John William born 1840 in Hanover Jamaica - then there is James who was born in Scotland 1788 . I have to upload new birth cert for James so remove the new James profile you created.
