The changes made to disconnect Archibald from his biological farther now has the biological direct line cut, which messes up the Geni pathways. There are ample notes in the Overview that document that Archibald was a biological Riggs and that Joseph Champness Austin was his step-father who raised him. Some of the notes are even in bold so as not to be missed.
Once the correction is made, please lock the parental connections for Archiblad so this won't happen again.
It's upsetting when you are tracing a line and realize your biolgocial line has been cut. Because of his having been born from an affair, I'm a Riggs descendant, not an Austen descendant on this line. That affects the connections for many others as well, I'm sure.
All that said, if there is well-documented evidence to refute the documentation in the Overview that explains the circumstances of Archibald's birth, please provide to clear things up. Otherwise, I believe the information in the Overview is valid and shouldn't just be dismissed and other connections made.
