Marguerite was Born in Ireland (Unsure of this fact - Not on the passenger list and she was born in the year that her sister Mary Ellen was murdered in Pietermaritzburg) and married Clifford in South Africa.
After Clifford's death Marguerite ran a boarding house for many years until she retired of old age. She died in 1964. She was knocked down by a truck in Pietermaritzburg and died a few days later in hospital.
During her life time she ran Mrs Pill's Boarding house, then Kruger's Boarding house in Fairview. Lived in Jorison Street in Jeppy Town. Also ran Mrs Swart Boarding house. There were a number of other Boarding houses until finally Marguerite ended up in Bromfontien.
She visited her grandchildren in Zimbabwe a few times.
