The prolific Crenshaw researcher, Jack Crenshaw Grantham, stated in his research that John married a granddaughter of Cornelius Dabney. I am uploading his notes here as a source, for reference. I personally do not know the source of this information.
I have seen Mr. Grantham's research quoted here on other Crenshaw MPs.
