Greetings,

We were contacted by a family member who's NOT on Geni, with the following correction for your consideration:

Lewis Goldfein was my <close relative> and Solomon Goldfein was my <close relative>. Marion Goldfein was not his mother and I would ask that you take down this fake/false listing

If you believe Marion could be the wrong mother here, you could just rename or delete Marion's profile, or reply here if you want further assistance (such as cutting her loose / attaching her elsewhere to the tree).

Kind regards,

Mike at Geni

Lewis Goldfein was my first cousin; Solomon Goldfein was my maternal uncle. Solomon’s wife, Marion Ruth Davidson Goldfein was the mother of Lewis. This information is correct.

Kenneth Schneider thanks for your response. You have a cousin who disagrees :) but as you are the Geni user we are not going to force you to change it. You can help strengthen your position by uploading sources to the profile, if you have them.

It's possible that your "informant" only knew Solomon Goldfein's SECOND wife, Edith, and not his FIRST wife, Marion (Lewis' mother) who died in 1963. I do not have Lewis' birth certificate; however, his (Virginia) death certificate clearly lists his mother's name as Marion Davidson.
