Interesting comment about the picture…is this a painting? The French inventor, Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, invented the first permanent photograph in 1826. It was a breakthrough in the history of photography.

Ok. I went around the relatiuonship lock and removed unthe unsourced children who had no spouse and no children and were born AFTER "father" died.
I sent a message to the managers/curator for the one son who had a family but was born after dad "died"

Anyone can add them back with sources, etc.
