I have found my ingrian relatives from Familysearch website.

Hi! The Ingrian churchbooks are in the State Archives in Helsinki and are open online: kansalisarkisto. fi, the copies are in the Historic Archives in Saint Petersburg, f. 2294 for lutheran churches, 75 roubles a day, digitized up to 1925, st. Nicholas church in Hatsina. Some villages belonged to the Skvoritsa parish. Good luck!

The place what You named 'Hatsinan Portti' could in correct Finnish be 'Porttila'. In Russian now 'Ивановка', where was a place called 'Мозинские ворота' (I don't know, does it exist now).

Thank you everyone for the help and new leads! I have a lot to search now. I am so glad to know that documents from the region around Gatchina and it's lutherian churches have been digitized.

I don't have access to the Russian archives but I can't wait for the day till I have it. Now I have some leads to go on since before this post I was completely lost in where to continue the search.

Look also for Venjoki as there you hav Jänis, and Jäniskylä.

In St. Nicholas church my friend has found Andrey Abraminpoika Janis, could be a relative. In 1891 he had his daughter Ustinja born.

Very small sucess. Found her and my second great grandfathers Michael Jänis's marriage record within the Gathina church records. They married in 1867.

Sadly she is not among the 1844 Hatsina seurakunta births', but then again the last birth in the 1844 Hatsina record ends with the end of October for that year, so the last two months of births are not included, and she was born in November. Sadly the records for 1845 are not up, so I can't check if her birth is included in the beginning of 1845 births for Hatsina, or she wasn't born there at all.

Sometimes Hatinsa seurakunta older births were written among the Venjoki seurakunta births. Again for my unluck the year 1844 births for Venjoki are not up and accessible. So I can't check if she was among those births in Venjoki. She is not among the 1845 Venjoki births. Did check that.

I am happy I found her marriage record. Now I know for certain she was from Hatsina seurakunta Porttila village.

Iave seen 2 kind of copies of marriages books in Ingria. ne of them contains also birthdates .
