There has been some question about who the parents of my 5th great-grandmother "Keziah Vann SOUTHERN" 1766-1850"
Based upon my research it is my opinion that "Mary Christina Vann "Wah-li" 1746–1835 or a full-blood sister of Mary is the mother of "Keziah Vann Southern", below is my DNA Connections for "Mary Christina Vann "Wah-li" 1746–1835 on Ancestry.
Note; A lot of these Connections have no tree at all or very small one so it is mostly DNA connection result based not a name on a tree based connection.
Since the father of Keziah proves out to be "John Joseph " Interpreter""U-Wa-Ni" VANN (Wild Potato Clan) 1735–1815 who had several wives and a few consorts giving us a few women to research as the potential parents of Keziah Vann Southern.
All roads seem to point to "Mary Christina Vann "Wah-li" 1746–1835 as the mother of Keziah Vann Southern.
In order to give weight to this possibility the blood line of Mary Christina Vann I completed DNA connection research starting with her mother, "Sister Raven Ani Gatagewi DOUGHERTY" tracing out any DNA connections for connections to "DOUGHERTY" resulting in DNA connecting with my 5th – 8th Cousins, "GREENWOOD" resulting in connecting with my 4th – 8th Cousins, "CARPANTER" resulting in DNA connecting with my 5th – 8th. and "CORNELIUS" resulting in DNA connecting with my 5th – 8th.The DNA surname connections with decedents of Dougherty, Greenwood, Carpenter, and Cornelius DNA match's with close family members of mine; half-sister, 1st and 2nd cozens for my line with additional matching family members in our trees.

A few direct connections with a parent surname would give a lot of weight to Mary Christiana Vann as the mother of my grand mother Keziah Vann Southern, but all the parents of Mary produced significant DNA connections to my DNA on Ancestry, the odds of this happening without there being a direct decedent are very very high.
It is my opinion that "Mary Christina Vann "Wah-li" 1746–1835 or full-blood sister of Mary is the mother of Keziah Vann Southern, there is no known documentation proving this other then DNA results.
