Hi all, The Mayflower Quarterly Magazine just came out (Spring 2022 Vol 88, No1), and it has a great article about the Fortune and it's passengers.
I can scan and make a pdf and upload, but I don't know where it would go. There doesn't seem to be the same Source tab like the profiles.
It is Part 1 of a 3-part article. I goes into extensive review of various past research on the Fortune, including the passenger list. There are just some minor edits I recommend to get 35 individuals for the 35 numbers. (Right now 35 is blank, there is a duplicate, and the Flavells are combined as 1 passenger)
1. Separating #14 Thomas Flavell and his Unknown Son into different passenger numbers.
2. They have the unnamed Ford #15 as the HUSBAND of Martha Ford.
3. They have another "Son" Ford , which is probably #15 on the list (since it starts the family group, it would most often by the head of the household).
4. They actually cite this GENI project as being a comprehensive passenger list out there.. but faults it for listing Edward Bumpas/Bompasse twice (#5 and #8).
5. Also, as a descendant, I recommend adding (Delano) to #24 written now as Noye de la Philipe because that is how most people will be looking for.
I can also add the link to each GENI profile directly to the list if you want.
