I now have been able to fill out the Doyle Family tree re Mary Lil Doyle. 1879 - 1965. She was a sister of Michael & Charles. She married Tom Egan, who had a son Tom whom I met c.1950. He was introduced to me as my mother's (Eileen Keavney born Doyle 1920 -1985) first cousin but till this week I couldn’t locate him in the family tree. By chance I located Tom's son Charles & was able to bring a correction to the error that was in our recording of the Family Tree.
May Lil McCormack born Doyle (1916 - 1945) was my Aunt who was murdered in Dun Lhaire, south Dublin, on 11 Jan 1945
Kilgallons were my Grandmother's family

Mary Lil Egan born Doyle. As far as I am aware she lived her life in Co. Mayo. She married Tom Egan, who had a son Tom (My first cousin once removed) who had a son Charles. You can 'google' Charles Egan, Author to get more details. The trilogy he has written based at the time of the great famine, just a small part based on papers he found in his Uncle's homeplace near Kiltimach Co. Mayo when clearing the property after his Uncles death.
My Grandfather. Michael J Doyle was married to Kate Kilgallon. My mother Eileen Winifred was the youngest of the family(1920 - 1985.
The Egan's had a farm near Kiltimach and had a large family. Tom junior was an eminent Psychiatrist who set up the original Mental health services in Co. Wicklow. Prior to that he was in Clonmel Co. Tipperary, Stafford in the UK & Nottingham, UK. I first met Tom in Nottingham around 1950 & then when I was in College in Dublin in the RCSI. Tom had a brother who was also a doctor, a GP in England, who joined the British Armed Forces and ended up being a POW in Germany. Charles has much more to tell me the next time we chat.
Let me know if you want to know more.

Good Morning
Thanks for the info it’s fascinating particularly as I live on border of Nottingham/Leicestershire in the U.K. I followed the details of Dame Laura Knight

My tree includes Lawrence/Larry Doyle who married Bridget Ruane in 1867 his father being Charles. I presume that they must be a distant Relationship They had many children.
