Found lineage of Farquhar well described in "Genealogical and Memorial History of the State of New Jersey", published in 1910. Farquhar was 12th descendant from William De Kyner. He had four sons - James, John, Mordeci, and Thomas. James being the eldest inherited extensive property and remained in Scotland. The other three sailed to America around 1700.
Farquhar's wife and the boy's mother was Agnes Lauder who was descended from de Lavedro, one of the Angle-Norman barons who came to Scotland with Malcolm Canmore in 1056.
