"Samuel's children listed in the St Stephen's Register, fall into 3 distinct timeframes, indicating Samuel had a total of 3 wives. Most genealogies assume Samuel has 4 wives"

I'll take it, he's my 8th great-grandfather and I need to tight up the timeframe ..it's also the same timeframe where William Tapp IV fathered (outside wedlock) Bushrod Young Doggett and then became George Tapp and moved to Person County, NC.

NOTE: DNA now proves he was the father of Bushrod (from what I've read). Samuel's son Mandley Taylor Winstead married William/George Tapp's daughter. Mandley is executor of Tapp's Will.Tapp, Doggett and both Winsteads are said to be my grandfathers .... so this could get a little ugly before I'm done!

I'll pull the DAR and Court records!

Aaron Furtado Baldwin, UE9006698 very nice.

Hoping to work on him again soon and that a curator will rescue him from the Curator Exchange
