The info I have seen is that the John Joseph Vann who was married to the Otterlifter wife is this one:

Joseph Vann, "The Interpreter"

Is there documentation that he was the sone of John B. Vann and Mary King instead?

Thanks in advance for any clarification, corrections, and/or notes added to the Overview. Just trying to help keep the Geni pathways correct.

There were two known "John Joseph Vann, Interpreters" this one of Chowan Co. North Carolina and his Uncle was also known as John Joseph Vann of Bertie County, North Carolina and is the brother of his father Lt. Clement Vann and the father of both is John B Vann.

If there is not some other documentation available other then what is shown for this profile it is considered accurate. Joseph Vann, "The Interpreter"
