Will ask for an unmerge and then come back to do clean up.
Thank you in advance for your patience, everyone.

They were unmerged and I have been working on them today but it is very slow going.
Thank you for your patience.
I will work on them again tomorrow.

I am so confused and I don't know what to do. I am so sorry.

Dan Cornett was kind enough to unmerge my merge: https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=81734721990 and presently is

James Maynard

So the children now attached to James Smith Maynard, Sr may need additional sorting.
I worked on a few and I see others have done a bit more work on the profile(s) so hopefully it is just a matter of time..

Thank you Cynthia.

I am curious as to the source for the middle name "Smith" for James Maynard Sr.? This is the first I have seen him have a middle given name. James Maynard Sr., is my 4x great grandfather, through his son James Maynard Jr (1802-1807/d. bef. 1885 Wayne Co., WV), and his wife Sophia Spry (b. 1815; d. bef. 1885) and his first wife. James Maynard SR., married Chaney Smith in Wilke Co., NC in 1808 and their marriage record is found on Family Search (free).
