Managers of John White, there is 2 listings for this person or it seems you have a John white jr and this John white there the same person. This johns wife’s last name is Ambrose
Inky reading she has a couple of brothers assumption. The only male I have found is a Henry Ambrose. Could be her father for what I was reading on him he was old enough.
You can read on Alice Ambrose// Gary in the Massachusetts court records also in the book about Wenlock Christian they were tortured beat and run out of Virginia and Massachusetts.
I knowthe John Gary jr mothers name was Joann she married sharpe after John sr. Passed.

I am contacting you about this profile: John White of Lancaster

Sincerely,

M

Somebody doesn't realize just how MANY MANY John Whtes there are.

Elder John White of Lancaster, MA is fairly well documented, but there are loads of other John Whites - some of whom are hardly documented at all.

I won't touch it lol
I think this is the BEST place to address the "question".

Thank you for the comment, Private User
I may dive into a WHITE line some day but not today (my husband has a White line)

They're everywhere. :-)

One source *not* to trust is Emma Siggins White's "Genesis of the White Family". She started with the newbie error that "all families with the same surname must be related" (not necessarily), and went from incompetence to outright fraud in misrepresenting her husband's White ancestors (they were Somerset shepherds, not Home Counties gentry).

John White is my 21st cousin thrice removed.

Ingrīda Cinkmane (Dzelvīte) there are MANY MANY MANY of us Americans who have done DNA and work on genealogy who are hoping to find our/their ancestors before they came here and even cousins who are descended from those who stayed.
Thank you for your comment :)

I did not say that well but I hope you understand lol
I have Finnish and Swedish and etc ethnicity showing and I recently uploaded my raw DNA to Geneanet after I saw a mention on GENI during Roots Tech.
My brother's son just had a rash (a WHOLE BUNCH) of DNA matches from Finland and I am hopeful to figure out the MRCA.
The commonality of a surname makes it especially "head - banging"/frustrating to work on a specific line but it is always fun to find a challenge.
As someone who was born in another country to American parents, I really love knowing I have ancestors and living relatives all over the world.
Just a few thoughts...
