There is something completely wrong about this person here. He can not be a son of Count Erwin II von Gleichen - Tonna. Count Erwin did not have a son named Engelbrecht. He had a son named Ernst III:

Graf von Gleichen (1196), Graf von Velseck (1200), Vogt vom Kloster Reifenstein (1201), urkundlich 1162 bis 1228, (* vor 1162; † 7. September 1226/1230); ∞ () Bertha von Lohra (* vor 1200; † nach 1211), Tochter von Graf Beringer II. von Lohra (1188) und Stein, Vogt von Bischofstein, (vor 1162–1190/1197) und Bertha von Ammensleben (–nach 1162).

I really do not know what sources have put him there, it might be speculation, good or bad?

Bertha von Lohra und Stein at the other hand could not have been his wife, she needs to be examined, maybe misplaced or something else. Suggest removing her from him.

Greve Engelbrecht was married to N.N. Ebbesdatter Hvide, https://finnholbek.dk/getperson.php?personID=I83653&tree=2

It is very likely that Engelbrecht fought along with his wife fathers side and died at the same time at the battle at Lena, Sweden 1208. If so the only brief source is DAA.
