Maria Thidell says of Alexander Dundas of Fingask "The information copied straight from the Dundas of Fingask familysite onto the geni-profile has been tinkered with without permission from the writer of the original text, the mother of Alexander Dundas children is falsely given to be Isabel Oliphant, when it is clearly cited on the familysite that the mother of his children should be Helen Arnot and now this vital piece of information is missing on the geni profile about section... and the children's real mother should be changed to be Helen Arnot, as the sources used for the Dundas familysite state. The peerage(referred to by some) is not a primary source here and especially when looking at the recent ancestry.com-site, wikipedia and stirnet used as sources for the information on the modern peerage, instead of the actual records and registries. These have been used as the source for the geni-profile, but the text that is modified is ripped from the site of the Dundas of Fingask family site"
