A majority of co-managers on this profile had his place of birth being the Palatinate -- most gave a specific village, now missing from the data conflicts (and I can't remember it) -- and the year being c. 1700.

With the fields being updated to Hessen in 1713, we now having him being between the ages of 12-15 at the times his eldest children were born.

It looks like our only source is an uncited FindAGrave page, so it would really help if we had something better. Can folks please re-check your records to see what sources are available? Thanks!

Here's what the Historical Association of Tobyhanna Township has on their website (no formal citations):

"'Johann Heinich Silvius', as he was named on the passenger list of the Queen Elizabeth, arrived in 1738 at Philadelphia. He was listed as 25 years of age."

Perhaps we need to cut the problematic children or adjust their birth info.

Posting in documents Silvius Genealogy by Paul Swan 2016.

Looks like some researchers, used the birth place, Paul Swan proposes to establish, with a proposed birth year. Believe it all needs sources to verify.

I believe the birth year is in question on Paul Swan's Rootsweb profile of him. The birthplace that he has should be correct.

Most of my earliest researchers have his birth year as 1699, Rhineland, Pfaltzgraff, Palitinate of Germany.

Palatinate, grammatical error.
