I'm a distant relative and also a member of DAR. We were asked to do a story about our Patriot. Just wondering if anyone has any stories about him to share?

I am related through my grandmother Millie Myers Luffy

I got nothing. The closest that I ever got was hearing a couple of stories about Frances Catherine McLauchlan, one of his 2nd great granddaughters and one of my 2nd great grandmothers... and I don't remember even remember those stories, I last heard them about three decades ago, before I got interested in genealogy.
