Trouble logging in

A family member I've invited to geni, (unsubscribed) is unable to log in despite having the same email address at the time of invite.

Can anyone help with why this is?

Do you mean they need to change their password?

If they know the correct email and password they should not have problems with logging in.

The above link is a way to get access to the account if the email is correct and are able to receive a recovery email.

Without the details it could also be that they just got invited, but never was active to set a permanent/their own password, In that case ask them to see the welcome mail they got to see if they got a temporary password or try re-clicking the invite link.
