I'm collaborating with a couple of cousins to try to trace some lines and I ran into this Lydia Barnes, but on Ancestry the trees have her parents as:
Father
WILLIAM Barnes (1725–1806)
Mother
DINAH Diana Dobson (1734–1802)
and not the couple attached to her as parents here on Geni. There is nothing in her About section to help me know which set of parents is correct. I'm hoping someone related to her can help clarify because I have a distant inlaw connection, as far as I can tell, and I don't know the lines.
