James is being treated by me, Joe Haines, as a genealogical "brick wall" as supporting documents or other records for James, prior to August 7, 1820 in Greene Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania has been located to date. DNA links James Cain to Ireland but, due to various and sundry events in Ireland and England, many CAIN families and especially CAIN males left the English Empire for the American Colonies or the United States of American. Any additional information and sources that can be located will be reported here.
