My Grandmother was born May 2, 1918 in Halifax, NC; however, I have not found any information on her parents. There is a possibility that her Father was a William Patterson, but have not found any solid facts yet.
She married a Ferguson, then a Gettman, and finally passed over with the last name of Barksdale. She lived a good portion of her life in Chesterfield, VA.
If this sounds familiar to anyone, I would welcome any information.
