Hier willen we de bekendste Esten van Nederland/Nederland uit alle tijdperken samenbrengen.

Thank you

:-)

BTW!
Not only Estonians who lived in Holland but also these who travelled from occupied Estonia via DP camps etc. via Holland to free world (ca 1941 - ca 1952).

And / or semen who died and are buried in Holland (all Netherlands areas are meant in Estonian under Holland).

We need a Estonian Coffee Corner, don't you think? I can/will start one, ok?

Welcome are Estonians who are of descent of your roots who were born in our free country, who were baptiseds here or visited moskee or synagoge or whatevr place you find your Lord to pray for the future of you descency... or who needed a shelter for some period to overcome stormy wheather.

So I see you concentrate first on the period c.1941-c.1952 ? I will see if I can find links to families with Estonian roots, who are in Geni already.

And please avoid the term HOLLAND,for that's only part of the name of some provinces (Noord-Holland & Zuid-Holland, in total we have twelve provinces, I will tell you there names, ok/) and since ages we have THE NETHERLANDS in good relationship with THE BELGIANS, LUXEMBURGERS, united in de BeNeLux since.... .zoeken we op.. in WikiPedia.

What titel do we choose for the project in Dutch?

* 'Esten vinden in de BeNeLux' ? like I developed for other non-native-neighbours...

examples:
* https://www.geni.com/projects/Chinezen-in-Nederland-sinds-1911/6354
* https://www.geni.com/projects/Grieken-vinden-in-de-Benelux/5327
* https://www.geni.com/projects/Gastarbeiders-van-toen-in-de-Benelux/...

Is there also already a project about 'DIASPORA of Estonians' analogous to f.i.

just as an example:
* https://www.geni.com/projects/ARMENIAN-diaspora-Հայկական-սփյուռք-Ha...

for geni-users abroad also interesting to read/know :
