According to Wikipedia, he only married twice:

Family
In 1572, Napier married 16-year-old Elizabeth, daughter of James Stirling, the 4th Laird of Keir and of Cadder.[33] They had two children. Elizabeth died in 1579, and Napier then married Agnes Chisholm, with whom he had ten more children.

With all these older - famous male profiles we need to report haplogroups. I'm a proud E with ties to the UK isles- Orkney circa 1000 years ago. We cannot always assume an old profile is an R- too many men are using maternal haplos to update profiles. We all know Y DNA come only from men- from fathers.!!!!

It would be nice to have more Y-DNA haplogroups connected to the lines. Unfortunately, I see some where as many as three conflicting Y-DNA haplogroups have been loaded to the same line and we all know it doesn't work that way.

But in this case, I was just pointing out that WIkipedia doesn't show three wives for this John Napier and only documents Elizabeth and Agnes. There is no wife named Ann Chisholm mentioned on Wikipedia, nor having had three marriages regardless of the names.
