In the Revolutionary War widow pension file of Susannah Wright Certain is found proof that the William Marks who was living in Warren County, North Carolina (1790 Census) is the same one found later (1800 Census) in Chatham County.

Susannah Wright Certain is the sister of Temperance Wright Marks, daughters of William Wright of Warren County, North Carolina. Temperance married William Marks in Warren County, North Carolina and this couple, along with Susannah Wright Certain, migrated to Chatham County, North Carolina about 1798.
I am happy to email anyone the pension file if wanted.
