Why is the Y haplo not showing?
Lorenzo Dow Ward

The Y test contribution is from the old Y Full application, uploaded to geni in 2016. And those profiles do not have a haplogroup identified: what we know is that there was a test.

Thank you, Erica.
I hope I can track it down.
This is my paternal WARD line (Lorenzo is not my direct but the Y goes to mine) and I like knowing the haplos for my directs. Y especially
:)

My husband has a Ward direct as well.

This goes to my 9th great grandfather Capt. Seth Ward

There are FIVE different lines for Seth Ward. 4 are b 1595 and one with no other info:

WARD #4: Subgroup I
229999 May Seth Ward. Waiting for more info 3/2012. England R-M269

WARD #5: Subgroup B
58090 Godfrey Seth Ward b. 1595 Abington, Cambridgeshire, Englan United Kingdom R-BY16590
206685 May seth ward b.c.1595 England R-M269
107737 Ward Seth Ward, b.c. 1595, Abingdon Cambridgeshire ENG England R-L47
67436 Godfrey Seth Ward b. 1595 Abington, Cambridgeshire, Englan Unknown Origin R-M269

Four of the men have confirmed haplogroups, meaning they had some SNP tests done. One appears to have done the Big Y test and their haplogroup is R-BY16590. The 3 others have confirmed haplogroups consistent with that result.

You might contact the Ward group administrators and ask them to reach out to the Big Y tester to ask if he would be willing to work with you.

Thank you, Andy Feldman
