Clearly there are some incorrect connections to this line, judging by three different Y-DNA haplogroups being attached. Only one of them can be correct. Are any of the male descendants members of the McDonald Y-DNA project on FTDNA to try to sort this out?
These are direct ancestors on my son's paternal side, but he is from a daughter line that married Ingram, so he's not a direct McDonald, so I can't clarify it based on his Y-DNA.
