Does anyone know more about Amos Lyman Kinney. His son John Kinneys birthplace is listed as Becaniquit Canada. The" Portrait and Biographical Record Book of Genesee, Lapeer, and Tuscola Counties" by Chapman Bros says that he graduated college in Massachusetts and was a land foreman in Canada. One of his son's portrait stated his great grandfather served in the revolutionary war. I keep hitting a brick wall when I try to find verifications of these facts. There are a lot of Kinneys, and a lot with the same names.
