Juho Isakinpoiku Laitinen - Why I believe this is my ancestor

This is a guess. My grandmother Aili's cousin Hilja Tervaskari visited the US from Finland in the early 1960s. Based on Billion Graves and subsequent research on Ancestry and Geni, I pieced together that Hilja's maiden name was Laitinen, the same as my grandmother and great grandfather. Since Hilja was 8 years older than my grandmother, I figured they likely shared a grandfather, hence when I discovered that Hilja's grandfather was Juho Isakinpoiku Laitinen, I guessed that that was the same grandfather as my Grandma Aili.

Your guess is right.
