@Ann Lyon Armstrong
Her genealogy is a mystery. I think her name was Ann Lyon or Rebecca/Rebekah Ann (or Ann Rebecca) Lyon, married c 1718 to Archibald Armstrong. We KNOW that they were both buried at Head of Christiana Presbyterian at Newark, New Castle, Delaware. Came to America circa 1740 and stayed put at New Castle Hundred. Questions:
Could she be the daughter of Thomas Edward Lyon (1680-1731) and Elizabeth Clark (1683-1715) of County Fermanagh?
Could she be the sister of John Denniston (?) Lyon, b circa 1708 who married Margaret Armstrong (1708- ) whose brother was General John Armstorng (1717-1795) who married Ann Lyon Armstrong's daughter, Rebecca Lyon Armstrong (1719-1797)?
Could she be the sister of James Lyon (dates unk but children incl William, Robert, Benjamin)?
