Laura Catherine Brown (Brooks) - @ Laura Chaperone Brooks

This is my great grandmother. She was never married and had two children, (MinnIe Etta Brooks Pace) and my grandfather (Edgar Jackson Brooks). There has never been a Brown in our family and this is the only time I have ever seen her connected with this name. Family gosip has Mason Acors as the father of her two children. She lived with and cared for her father (Granville Chapman Brooks) until his death in 1908. She died at home in 1924 and is buried in the same cemetery as her parents.
