I just became aware of the existence of Raul Hilberg, whose book "History of the Destruction of the European Jews" was the start and most studied work of Holocaust Research.
I then searched for him on Geni, but did not find his name.
I thought he is an important personality to have a prominent place on our website, since many thousands of family members murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust became a big part of Geni.
I therefore believe that one of the Curators should take upon themselves the job of creating such a master profile.

I would have done it myself if I knew how.
I will appreciate to read anyones thoughts and suggestions.

Attempt to connect to the World Tree
When it is in good enough shape to be Mastered, post a request - including link to the profile - in https://www.geni.com/discussions/217560
Last night I tried to go to sleep very late, but was too wound up and two more hours passed before I finally drugged my body to bed.
I already knew then of the formation of a small tree related to Raul Hilberg, and imagine my surprise that we are already connected to the WORLD TREE.
Job well done everyone, especially the two Curators Erica Howton and Itai Hermelin.
You people did not give me the opportunity to follow Private User"s instructions, but they'll come handy for some other opportunity.
Hi Raul!
I think that this is a stellar idea! Very good of you to bring this up.
My thoughts are that since it was your initiative, and YOU would have greater ease at facilitating further inquiries about this topic I do believe you should be the one initializing it! I understand what you meant by should you have been in the know-how you might have gone ahead on your own, and may I therefore suggest getting customer service support on this? I do not know how to begin but hopefully this is possible to get help from the company!
On another matter, my own queries have yet to be answered by Ĝeni and am wondering I maybe my question might be answered by you until someone directly from Ĝeni might respond (if at all) if you have the slightest idea where to begin?
I discovered that I was related to the late great Head Rabbi (Germany) during laye 16th to early 17th centuries called Juda Mehler!
I did succeed to begin to communicate with one of his descendants but wish to be connected with additional family members of his because I wish to become a Rabbi like he did and posthumously to have him as my role model, finding out more about his personal likes and dislikes, and any pertinent info that might be helpful!
Please assist in any way possible. I appreciate any advice please and let us keep in touch.
Happy 2022!
Thanks for responding. My direct email address is

Dear Janine Laura / Hana-Liora Inwald Percik Handler Bronson, I read your message, I think you meant me but in error wrote Raul.
I believe that you should direct your question to the Curators, and I also believe there is a discussion meant just for that.
Since I was barred from this forum for some years, I did not immerse myself in learning more about it, since I could not participate.
Dear Erica Howton, I found the following Birth entry on JRI Poland, and I have a hunch that Schachter Henryk may be her sibling, but from a different mother:

Daniel:All: Thank you fior this. I discovered Professor Hillberg when I watched Claude Lanzmann's "Shoah." His interviews are devastating. His book "Perpetrators, Victims and Bystanders." He is one of our gems (as is Lanzmann).
I am sending anyone who watches Shoah and/or reads the above hugs and love in advance; I kid you not when I say that I still get emotional thinking about what these two men found.
Adding Dr. Hillberg's profile is a Mitzvah.
