I'm brand new to Geni.com, and although I've watched the tutorials, I feel like I'm not understanding the basics. I'm hoping to connect with other trees that have my same ancestors as a way of being more confident in the accuracy. I'm mostly confused about smart matches, comparing and merging profiles. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
